New Year’s Reading Resolutions

by | December 27, 2018

As we enter the new year, many of us like to set New Year’s Resolutions or goals we’d like to accomplish during the new year. Why not set some reading resolutions?

Having a goal will help keep the momentum of the beginning of the school year going and push kids to stretch their boundaries.

Here are some possible ideas:

I will read __ books in 2019.
In 2019, I will read ___ new authors.
I will read (insert book series here) in 2019.
In 2019, I will read ___ chapters every night.
In 2019, I will visit the library once a (week/month)
I will read ___ books about ___ in 2019.
I will read ____ (poetry/historical fiction/science fiction/fantasy/autobiography/biography/mystery/etc.) books in 2019.

You’ll also want to set a plan on how to track these goals. A simple notebook should do the trick!
